It’s (almost) that time of year again, one last push for end of term and then some time to think about the year that’s just finished. We’ll be doing some reflection about ELT Springboard over the summer too! Based on this post by my friend Zhenya at Wednesday Seminars, I was inspired to think a little more deeply about what we’re doing and why. She and I have corresponded a number of times about teacher discussion groups/reflective practice groups and I think she’s doing a fantastic job organising her group in Dnipro, Ukraine. I’ve adapted her survey for our group and I’d like to know what you (whether you’re an ELT Springboard regular or someone who gets the newsletter but hasn’t come yet) think about these two questions:

  1. What makes ELT Springboard events different from other training sessions/workshops you attend?
  2. What would your idea of a perfect teachers discussion group be?

To make it easy, I’ve made a quick survey and I’d appreciate it if you could put your answers here: please take the ELT Springboard Reflection survey by 2 June.

We’ll talk about what you said at our meeting on 6 June. As usual, we’ll meet at 8pm in the Tibits on Gurtengasse, just around the corner from the train station in Bern. Weather permitting, we’ll be able to sit outside! Please send us an email or RSVP in the comments so we know how many seats to reserve!
